Travel advice for Kantajew Temple

  • Rash Mela: The month-long Rash Mela is held at the temple around Rash Purnima, the full moon of Kartik, usually in late November. Expect crowds and a festival atmosphere then.
  • Getting to the temple: The temple is about 20 km north of Dinajpur town. Take a bus, auto-rickshaw or easy-bike from town; one traveller's account gave about 30 taka (older fare, check locally). Nayabad Mosque is close by.
